In the 7 years with SITA as respectively Site Manager and Territory Manager Richard Meijer gained experience in managing teams. From a local team as Site Manager and later on remote teams as Territory Manager.
As Site Manager Richard Meijer was responsible for the site Amsterdam Schiphol where he lead a team of 12 people (system administrator, Service Desk and project manager), a third party for the maintenance of the equipment on the site, responsible for achieving the service levels, reporting to customers and budget responsible.
In his function as Territory Manager Richard Meijer was responsible for the Benelux and Nordics and managed a team of in total 34 people spread over different airports like Schiphol, Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. Next to people management Richard Meijer was also responsilbe for achieving the service levels of each independent site and the total budget of the complete territory.
